If you choose to stay in Del Rio over night, do yourself a favor and choose Whispering Palms Inn. The facilities are fresh, clean and updated rooms. Beds were extremely comfortable. We loved our stay! Hosts were very friendly and accommodating. Larry “The Bird” was entertaining as well as their Dog. The parking is safe as it is surrounded by the facility with only one entrance and exit. Thank you for a Great Stay 👍👏😜

We recently stayed here for a yearly event last weekend. It was GREAT! The room was very clean. It had a mini fridge and a microwave. Shower had excellent water pressure. Rakesh was so friendly and accommodating for all the club. I definitely recommend staying here. We will back next year😀

amazing service, dog friendly, great cable, clean room, and big shower with hot water, free breakfast. I’ve paid more for worse rooms at the big hotel chains before. This is definitely where I’ll be staying next time I’m in town. You can’t beat the price. The furniture is slightly dated but was in good condition. There were a few cosmetic damages to the room such as a small section of paint peeling and a spot where the wall had been dented by a previous guest but you still get more than you pay for with this room. I felt safe, the parking was secure (visible from any room), and it’s 5-15minutes from everything in town.

On this visit, I noticed the exterior of the hotel was renovated with new paint, staircase surrounds and lighting, the pool clear and clean. The bathroom and shower fully functional. Bed sheets very clean, and an extra blanket if needed. This is an honest and truthful review. The owner and family are professional and polite and meets the need of the traveler or extended stays.

Clean spacious rooms in a quiet location. The best part of this place is the owner operator who is incredibly friendly, makes you feel so welcome, and like you are home. Whenever we are in Del Rio we will always stay here!

When I come to Del Rio to visit, I am not looking here for luxury. I am looking for a clean and safe place to come home to after a day out with loved ones. For me, this place provides the best value in town for lodging. The owners (and their pet parrot) are super friendly, and the location is great. I stay here at least once a year and always have had a great experience. If there was one thing I would like to see in this business would be maybe a simple topper on the beds, as once or twice my mattress has been a bit uncomfortable.

The owners, Bob and his wife, handled us as family member during the time, what we spent there. They were always very friendly, and always open to the questions, requests. Rooms are clean, pool was available and also clean.

Great place to stay. The only place we stay in Del Rio. Rooms are excellent. Great owners and staff. Can’t say enough. The rooms are very comfortable. The entire complex is very clean, quiet, and secure parking lot. We have stayed many times the last 5 years. Not one single complaint. Our home away from home.
